Meet Our Pastors

 Pastor Eugene Smith is a humble servant of the Lord who is committed to seeing the Word of God taught and confirmed by the Holy Spirit. Pastor Smith is known for his practical and dynamic teaching style which help people apply the truths of scripture to

their everyday lives. Pastor Smith also holds a Master of Education in Counseling/Psychology from Troy University and have over 10 years of counseling experience. He is a highly enthusiastic and self-motivated leader who offers over 15 years in the Human Services field and has a genuine passion for people. He is currently a Counselor at the GA Dept of Juvenile Justice and is very active in the CSRA

community. In 2011, Smith was ordained and licensed as a minister of the gospel at The King’s Church (Augusta, Ga). Smith served this ministry as Associate Pastor and Church Administrator for over 5 Years. In 2017, Pastor Smith became the Youth Pastor of Glory Harvester Church (Cartersville, GA) under the leadership and mentorship of Bishop Ronald D. Nesbitt. On June 30th, 2019, Pastor Smith was installed as pastor of City of Life Ministries (Grovetown, GA). In the month of October 2023, COLM was renamed to City of Life Augusta, INC.  Pastor Smith has been happily married to his beautiful wife, Prophetess Lakeia for seven years and they have five sons and two daughters. Pastor Smith truly believes the scripture that states, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

  Prophetess Lakeia is a compassionate person that loves God with her whole heart. She’s happily married to Eugene Smith, Pastor of City of Life Ministries of Augusta. Together, they have seven beautiful children, five sons and two daughters. Prophetess Lakeia has been through many attacks from the enemy and used it to strengthen and build her relationship with God. Prophetess Lakeia answered the call to the office of the Prophet and was ordained in June 2016. In January 2020, she released her first book “From Bondage to Liberty: Abused but Still Anointed”, which testifies how God can deliver you from any place that seems undeliverable. January 2021, Prophetess Lakeia broke through and released her second book entitled, “You Are What You Speak: I Speak…I Am... This book provides 31 powerful prophetic affirmations to declare and decree over your life. In November 2021, she released her third publication “My New Friend Faith”, a children’s book to help and teach both parents and children how to trust God! Prophetess Lakeia is a strong believer of faith and believes that it comes by hearing. If we change what we say, we will change what we think. When we change how we think, we will change what we do. When we change what we do, we will change how we live. In 2022, Prophetess Lakeia Smith completed school and graduated with her MBA and birthed a prophetic and inspirational apparel line entitled Glory Creations 4 U. She is the visionary behind God’s Beautiful Queen’s (GBQ’) which encourages young/adult women to see the beauty within themselves as the holy and pure Queens that God has created them to be. She is truly a woman of faith endowed with the anointing in the prophetic as an intercessor, seer, and discerner of the voice of God. 

Prophetess Lakeia is a true example of what it looks like to live the word of God and make sacrifices for the benefit of the well-being of others. Her desire is to see God’s people saved, healed, and delivered. If God did it for her, He will do it for you!
